Cloud Stop Motion gives you the ability to invite users to join an organization. While a personal account will allow you to make, edit and export animations, the organization console will allow you to manage the people linked to your organization (provided you are an admin). 


If you are a school for example, an organization account is a great way for you to implement all of your students into one area where you can do things such as view, edit and add/delete students, see student projects, monitor storage use and the recycle bin and even change student permissions. You can add other admins and teachers too.


Handy tip: By default, new organizations are given 2GB storage for free, however if you would like to increase your organization's storage allowance there are many preset subscription plans for you to choose from. Alternatively however and new for Cloud Stop Motion V2, you can now choose a custom storage plan to the nearest GB if you wish, giving you the best possible value.


In order to create a new organization account you will first need a personal account. If you already have a personal account you can skip steps 1-3 and go straight to "Creating a new organization account". If you do not have a personal account, please follow the steps below:


1. Go to app.cloudstopmotion.com and click the middle option - 'Sign in / Register'.




2. Navigate to the sentence below the blue 'Sign in' button that reads 'Sign up now' and click on it.



3. Enter your email address and click 'Send verification code'. You will then be prompted to enter the verification code which will be sent to the email address you typed. Verify the code, choose a display name and password for your new account and finally, click 'Create'



Handy tip: At this point, if you have just created a new account for the first time, you will be asked if you'd like a "personal" or "educational" account. You can choose the educational option here to save some time but if you already have a personal account or mistakenly clicked on personal after this step, simply continue with the instructions below.  


Creating a new organization account:


4. Once you are signed into your new account, click on the yellow 'Upgrade' button in the top right of the screen.


 


5. Click on the 'Educational' option.



6. Choose your storage plan.





7. Depending on the storage plan you choose (free or paid), please select either 'Continue', 'Pay by card' or 'Free trial'. You will be prompted to enter some details for your organization such as the name and address. After doing so, click on 'Create account' or 'Subscribe' (again, depending on whether you chose to opt for a free or paid storage plan). 


Voila! You now have an organization account that you can start inviting people to.
