Cloud Stop Motion Support

You've set up an organization for your school, university or club. Great! How do you add students? Depending on how many students you have, you may wish to do this is in one of two ways. 

If you only have a few students, you may opt to add them manually. To do this, please check out the following instructions:

1. Go to app.cloudstopmotion.com and sign in to your account.

2. Navigate to your organization admin area by clicking on the person icon in the top right corner and then clicking on "Organization Console'.

3. Select the 'Students' tab on the left.

4. Click on 'Add/import users' at the bottom.

5. Select 'Individually' and then enter a display name as well as the student's email address. You can also create users without an email address, however this is not recommended.

6. Once you have clicked 'Add user' you can view any pending invitations by clicking on the grey 'View pending invitations' tab. These will remain pending until the user accepts their invitation by signing into their Cloud Stop Motion account. If they do not have an account, they can simply sign up using the same email address that was used to invite them and their invitation will automatically appear once they are logged in.

Handy tip: You can quickly check how many students have accepted their invitation and how many haven't by looking at the tabs on the left of the organization console. The number next to each category shows you how many people are now in your organisation. The number in brackets is how many people still have a pending invite. For example, "Students 2 (3)" would mean you currently have two students in the organization and a further three with pending invites.

If you have many students, you may want to import them from Google Classroom, a CSV or Excel File. To do this, please follow steps 1-4 above and then check out the following instructions:

5. Click on the method you would prefer to use to import your students.

6. Select the class/file and click on 'open'. You should then be shown the bulk invite page where you can customise who gets added and to what groups.
